I have 4 dogs. A mutt with short legs, a Rott, a pit, and a boston terrier. I hope to get them more socialized with other dogs. 1 at a time. I'm excited about this. Thanks for everyones dedication.

When Grog was a puppy, I saw the need for a local dog park. I researched the area parks already in place, in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and Nipomo and started asking local dog owners if they would support a dog park for the Five Cities area. Everyone said they would.....so I started a petition and approached the Grover Beach city council regarding the dog owner's wishes. I'm a local pet sitter who loves taking care of everyone's animals as well as my own, and have been doing it since the 1990's. I'm so happy to see the dog park come into existence as it's so near my home. Daisy can't wait to meet all the other doggies, too!

Having 2 active Goldens with no reasonably close place to run, I'm ecstatic about our new park. In addition. Maya was a rescue and though I've had her for 5 years, she still needs to be around other dogs to continue learning how to play.

We are eagerly awaiting our very own place to (legally) let Mister Big romp with his canine buddies ever since the Costa Bella days. We want everyone to dig into their wallets to help make our Elm Street Dog Park a reality. One visit to the vet costs much more than donating a couple hundred bucks for a safe and friendly place for us to play and romp and cavort. Jared has volunteered to be "poop master"! Let's get this done!

We are so happy to be a part of this great group of people and their furry loved ones. We look forward to using the new dog park for our group doggie adventures. I'm a stay at home mom to two girls, 2.5 and 1.5 years old. My dog Shasta and I went to the dog park every day for over 2 years at 3pm until grover beach started ticketing. We miss our dog park friends soo much, and truly think about everyone!

I'm happy to be a part of the Five Cities Dog Park Association as Membership Coordinator. It's been a long haul trying to get our park up and running, and I'm glad to see it finally happening.
